A year has gone by since the last time I changed the look of the site, so it is about time for another new look. This is a good time for a new look, as Elizabeth and I move forward into married life. This theme rotates different images in the header. Right now, there are 25 images that will rotate, and we can add more in the future. Above the site title at the top of the page are links to the pages of the site. Below the title are links to the six most populated post categories on the site.
In my seemingly never-ending quest to find a look for this site that I like, I’ve switched to a new theme, with some modifications by me. This one is called Vertigo Blue. The photo in the header is from 2004, taken off the front deck of the slopeside cabin we stayed at in Montana, as the sun sets (or was that the moon rising?). We’ll see if I can stick with this look for a while.
I’m getting through a backlog of photos. The latest ones I’ve posted are from 4th of July, at Tom and Patti’s house. They can be found here. I’ve also overhauled the look of the site. I got tired of the two-column design of the last theme, so switched to a 3 column theme. The picture in the header, above, is from my trip to Montana in February/March, taken from the front porch of our cabin.
Some of the updates to my website software have broken the appearance of the site. Also, all the calendar items are now showing up as posts, which they shouldn’t be doing. So, please ignore the sloppiness as I test out several changes.
If this post shows up, klinehome.com is running again. I still need to restore things that were here before, but at least this is a start.
